Position Details:
Job Title: Production Operator
Work Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.38/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Production Operator to perform the assembly, testing, and packaging of electronic and mechanical products according to established quality and production standards and ISO procedures.

Candidates with hands-on assembly or building experience are strongly preferred. Experience in manufacturing, food service, automotive work, or other hands-on environments is also valuable.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Hands-on assembly experience preferred

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred

• Ability to work with your hands

• Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches

• Experience with electric and pneumatic power tools is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, and pull as required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, testing, and packaging of electronic and mechanical products.

• Manufacture products using visual aids, written instructions, verbal instructions, and established procedures.

• Follow quality and production standards and applicable ISO procedures.

• Move parts and materials as needed to maintain organized and efficient material flow.

• Rotate between different operations within a work cell and between departments as needed.

• Prepare and maintain work cell and department records.

• Identify and notify appropriate personnel when a process or method is out of compliance.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
