We are hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for a data-center project in Jackson, Mississippi.

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION.

PAY RATE: DOE (DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE)

PER DIEM (TO BE DETERMINED)

Candidates must have proven, hands-on medium-voltage experience. Medium-voltage cable termination is a major part of this position. Simply pulling MV cable or working around medium-voltage equipment will not qualify.

Required Experience:

• 5kV–35kV medium-voltage electrical systems
• Medium-voltage cable preparation and termination
• Stress cones, termination kits, separable elbows, splices, and grounding kits
• Shielded MV cable installation and pulling
• Medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, substations, and breakers
• Duct banks, manholes, vaults, conduit, and cable tray
• Grounding and bonding of MV equipment
• Cable testing, phasing, megger, VLF, or hipot testing
• MCCs, starters, contactors, relays, VFDs, and motor controls
• PLC control wiring, instrumentation, and I/O troubleshooting
• Reading electrical prints, one-lines, schematics, and control diagrams
• Following proper LOTO, arc-flash, and medium-voltage safety procedures

Data-center experience is strongly preferred. Relevant medium-voltage experience from industrial plants, power generation, utilities, refineries, mining, or other mission-critical facilities will also be considered.
