We are seeking a Plant Service Tech A to join our team! You will be working on Printing Plant Machinery with other plant service personnel, following through with scheduled work and taking care of machinery breakdowns. A commitment to achieve results is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Electrical troubleshooting and repairing of complex control wiring circuits using schematics and PLC
• Modifying PLC programs , saving and documenting changes
• Transferring PLC programs to and from a personal computer to equipment PLC processors; restoring programs to MMI's "Man-machine interfaces
• Setting up and calibrating press, binder and auxiliary control system
• Installing electrical circuits for power distribution: wiring or rewiring control circuits and documenting any changes
• Reading and interpreting prints both electrical , mechanical and pneumatic
• Change and/or update schematics and prints as circuits are modified
• Performing other related duties and following any other instructions as my be required by supervision

​Qualifications:

• Very strong commercial and industrial control electrical experience
• A minimum of five years of experience in an industrial/production maintenance setting and/or post secondary technical trade school
• Abilities of troubleshooting and repairs in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, electronics and a strong background in PLC controls and programming
• Must achieve the standards set for their job classification as specified in the Plant Service Qualification Standards booklet
• Self-motivated and have a team player attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
