Qualifications of Commercial Printing Press Operator:

• Must be able to set up and run a 28 inch or 40 inch offset commercial printing press.
• 2+ years of experience required

Responsibilities of Printing Press Operator:

• Operate and maintain sheet-fed 28" offset printing presses (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori or Ryobi)
• Set up press for production runs, including ink adjustments, registration, and paper alignment
• Monitor print quality throughout each run, performing quality control checks and making adjustments as needed
• Manage color consistency throughout the printing process, utilizing color management techniques
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure print accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine press maintenance
• Work closely with production and prepress teams to meet project specifications and deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating offset printing presses
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, color guides, and production specifications
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality

The salary range for this role is $26 - $30 an hour.

Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills and experience.
