Are you a Pipefitter/Welder Foreman who enjoys leading crews, building complex mechanical systems, and seeing projects through from start to finish?

KLS is looking for an experienced Pipefitter/Welder Foreman to lead commercial mechanical installation projects throughout the Richmond area. If you have experience overseeing pipefitters and welders, installing boiler systems, and can pass a weld test, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate pipefitters and welders on commercial mechanical projects
• Oversee installations from project kickoff through completion
• Install and weld piping systems for boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and other HVAC equipment
• Read blueprints, specifications, and submittals
• Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Manage manpower, tools, and materials efficiently
• Perform pipe welding using SMAW (Stick), MIG, TIG, and other welding processes as required
• Mentor field personnel and help resolve installation challenges

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Pipefitter/Welder Foreman or Crew Leader
• Experience leading installation projects from start to finish
• Commercial boiler installation experience
• Ability to pass a pipe welding test
• Experience welding carbon steel and various piping systems
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
