Machine Operator, South Boston VA, 90 Day Contract with Extension Potential

Allied Reliability is hiring Machine Operators for a client of ours in South Boston, VA, a nationally recognized, high volume consumer products manufacturer. This is a 90 day contract with real potential to extend.

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience Per diem: $100 per day, $700 per week, for candidates who live more than 50 miles from South Boston VA and remain in the area for the assignment Contract length: 90 days with extension potential Location: South Boston, VA

What You Will Do

Operate assigned production machine at required specifications Handle packaging, palletizing, and quality inspections throughout the shift Work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced production environment Perform repetitive production tasks consistently and accurately Maintain safety compliance throughout the shift

What We Are Looking For

At least 2 years of machine operator or manufacturing experience High School Diploma or GED Ability to stand and sit for up to 12 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and pass a pre employment lift test Comfortable in a fast paced, repetitive production setting

Before You Start

All candidates must pass a background check, 10 panel drug screen, non DOT physical, health screen, and lift test.
