PSE Group is seeking a skilled Paint Mixer to join our nationwide team of coatings specialists. This role is essential for providing accurate color matching and mixing of paints and specialty coatings for automotive, commercial, aerospace, and industrial applications. Reporting to the Store Manager and working under supervision, the Paint Mixer will utilize both manual and automated mixing equipment to deliver exceptional products that meet quality standards while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Mix and match topcoat colors, including aerospace industry standards
• Prepare paint orders using standard and custom formulas
• Maintain accurate documentation of formulas to ensure color consistency and quality
• Perform quality control checks to minimize mis-tints and color discrepancies
• Clean and calibrate mixing equipment regularly to maintain performance
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with order processing when needed
• Assist with branch or satellite inventory and waste disposal following regulations
• Operate lift trucks, hand trucks, and other equipment safely and effectively
• Adhere to safety compliance and wear required safety equipment at all times
• Collaborate with team members to support operational needs and company goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with color matching and paint mixing techniques
• Knowledge of paint pigments and their characteristics
• Familiarity with operation of manual and automated mixing equipment
• Understanding of safety equipment usage in paint mixing environments
• Strong customer service skills
