We are looking for a Graduate or Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate individual with a passion for pets. The ideal candidate will have medical knowledge, and good communication skills. Responsibilities:
Ensure patients receive the necessary vaccinations and preventative care.
Perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and restraining animals.
Draw blood and place catheters.
Communicate with clients about disease prevention and treatment.
Write in electronic medical records, fill prescriptions, do client callbacks, and generate computer invoices.
Admit and discharge surgery patients.
Calculate and administer anesthetic drugs.
Monitor and prep surgical patients.
Record and track controlled drugs.
