About the Role

As the front-line leader representing the SERVPRO® brand, the Crew Chief sets the tone on every job site. You will lead crews, manage projects, and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You are expected to lead by example and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and execute restoration projects (water, fire, mold)
• Manage crews and ensure quality work is performed on every job
• Deliver a high-level customer experience from start to finish
• Clearly communicate expectations and hold technicians accountable
• Document all job activity (photos, notes, moisture logs, etc.)
• Manage labor, equipment, and materials efficiently
• Communicate progress, issues, and updates with internal team members
• Ensure all work meets IICRC standards
• Enforce safety protocols on every job site
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Train, coach, and develop technicians

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 2 years experience in restoration, cleaning, or construction
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• IICRC certification is a plus (WRT, ASD, AMRT preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Comfortable working in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics)
• Ability to push, pull, and carry equipment regularly
• Ability to work with cleaning agents and in varying job site conditions
