Performs required safety checks (pre/post trip). Follows DOT regulations and safe driving guidelines. Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight. Ensures required route paperwork is available. Drives and delivers trailers according to schedule. Performs hook/unhook procedures. Parks and stores tractor trailers. Ensures equipment and freight are secured. Collects and secures damaged goods and customer returns. Unloads equipment, materials, and trash. Completes daily record of hours of service. Performs general housekeeping duties.
