**Your Role at KIK**
The Production Supervisor **1st Shift (Monday -Thursday 4:30 am - 3:30 pm and overtime on Friday and or weekends per business need)** leads the daily operations of the filling department to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and within quality standards. This role oversees shift performance, coordinates production employees, and proactively addresses operational challenges to minimize downtime and maintain on-time delivery. As a hands-on leader, the Supervisor drives continuous improvement initiatives, enforces safety and compliance standards, and fosters a high-performing team culture focused on productivity, accountability, and development.
**The pay range for this role is $90,000.00-100,000.00 plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.** **The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including your relevant skills and experience.**
**What You'll Do**
+ Lead daily production line operations to achieve production schedules while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
+ Supervise, coach, and develop a first shift team of approximately 15 production employees, driving accountability, engagement, and performance.
+ Monitor and drive key production metrics including output, yields, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency; implement corrective actions to improve results.
+ Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies, GMP standards, sanitation requirements, and regulatory compliance expectations.
+ Conduct shift kick-off meetings and lead cross-functional communication to align priorities across Production, QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR.
+ Coordinate daily with tank farm and shipping to keep filling lines supplied and outbound commitments on schedule, and provide oversight across production, quality, and warehouse activities.
+ Optimize staffing and manpower utilization based on production demand, attendance, and schedule priorities.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, improving reliability, and lowering operational costs using Lean or similar methodologies.
+ Maintain inspection-ready conditions at all times, ensuring housekeeping, documentation, and quality standards are consistently met.
+ Oversee production documentation and support employee development and performance management, including training, safety programs, and corrective action in alignment with company policy.
**What You'll Bring**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
+ Bilingual required - ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
+ 5 or more years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance metrics, including 3 or more years of leadership experience as a supervisor or lead with a proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
+ Experience with high-speed automated production equipment and/or bottle filling machinery is strongly preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to own, interpret, and clearly articulate production KPIs including output, downtime, yield, waste, and labor efficiency.
+ Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is preferred.
+ Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including documentation control, deviation management, corrective actions, and audit readiness.
+ Strong working knowledge of GMP, safety programs, and 6S/lean workplace standards, with a continuous improvement mindset and a track record of improving efficiency and reducing downtime; experience conducting safety training and tracking compliance.
+ Strong communication and conflict management skills with the ability to lead through change, collaborate cross-functionally, and build partnerships across departments; proficient in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
