- Pay Range: $20.85- $31.28 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

- Bilingual Pay Policy: Eligible for an additional $1.25/hour for Spanish proficiency

What You'll Do
As an Enrollment Coordinator, you'll help patients access healthcare services and coverage by:
- Assisting patients with enrollment and re-enrollment in healthcare coverage programs, including the Oregon Health Plan (OHP).
- Helping patients complete Sliding Fee Program applications and gathering required documentation.
- Conducting eligibility screenings and verifying insurance coverage.
- Reviewing patient accounts prior to appointments to ensure accurate insurance and billing information.
- Assisting patients with billing questions and coordinating with external billing partners when needed.
- Scheduling medical, dental, and behavioral health appointments.
- Registering new patients and maintaining accurate records in the electronic health record system.
- Supporting patients with MyChart enrollment and use.
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting confidential patient information.
- Collaborating with scheduling, reception, billing, and clinical teams to support a seamless patient experience.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting Wallace's mission and values.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in a medical office setting, or two years of experience in a high-volume customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance terminology and insurance verification processes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
