Help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services. Design the plan and work with patients to execute those plans. Restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities. Adapt to the needs of the patient. Train patients and caregivers on skills needed to promote independence and productivity.
