Provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients with a variety of medical conditions. Performs malnutrition assessments, nutrition-focused physical exams, diet education, and provides nutrition support recommendations. Consults with physicians and allied health professionals. Formulates nutrition assessment and follow-up plans. Participates in clinical rounds and department meetings. Must be flexible to cross-cover and train in all areas including Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics as needed. Reviews literature and presents to peers. Performs professional presentations. Maintains current credentials and completes yearly competencies.
