**Job Summary:**
The Export Compliance Manager assists Crane Holdings Co., the CA&E Group Dir., Contracts & Compliance, and business unit leadership in maintaining, and is responsible for, a CA&E site's export compliance program, while also supporting the site's industrial security program. The SESCM serves primarily as the site's export compliance official and holds a U.S. government security clearance in order to assist the site's Facilities Security Officer (FSO) to maintain compliance with national industrial security requirements.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Provide export compliance consultation, guidance and training in partnership with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, operations, sales, contracts, HR, facilities security and others
+ Work closely with site leadership in a trust position to maintain and improve the site's overall compliance posture, ensuring alignment with corporate and group policies
+ Support group and corporate export compliance and facilities security initiatives, both at the local site level and in close coordination with peers at other A&E sites. Share experiences and collaborate across sites to improve the compliance posture of the A&E system as a whole
+ Act as a subject matter expert on export compliance, providing timely and accurate advice to internal stakeholders on export classifications, licensing, and regulatory requirements
+ Self-directed and motivated while working and communicating effectively within a team environment that may consist of several engineering, operations, quality, and business disciplines
+ Ensure plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
+ Develop and implement site-specific export compliance policies, procedures, and work instructions in alignment with corporate guidelines
+ Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations
+ Other tasks as assigned by supervisor, Facility Security Officer, or management
**Eligibility Requirement:** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
**Minimum Qualifications** **:**
+ _Experience_ : 5+ years of export compliance, contracts management, industrial security or related field.
+ _Knowledge_ : Expert knowledge of relevant regulations, including those administered by U.S. Departments of State, Commerce, and Treasury (ITAR, EAR, OFAC).
+ _Skill_ : Demonstrated skill to work independently and proactively and in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
+ _Ability_ : Ability to work effectively across functional teams and with senior leadership. Ability to distill complex regulatory requirements into business impacts and effectively brief executive leaders.
+ _Education/Certification_ : BA/BS in related area or equivalent experience.
+ _Security Clearance:_ Possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one within 4 months of employment.
**Preferred Qualifications** **:**
+ Ability to assist the site's Facilities Security Officer with responsibilities defined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
+ Prior experience as Facilities Security Officer (FSO), or Alternate (AFSO), or experience in a supportive role of either one.
+ Export compliance or industrial security experience in the aerospace & defense industry, and/or military experience.
+ Broad knowledge in IT systems and infrastructure.
