RGP is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst to support a high-impact finance organization within a leading diagnostics business. This role will partner closely with business leaders to deliver financial insights, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis that drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, business-minded, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where influencing key stakeholders is essential. This is a 6-12 month consulting role with a hybrid component - 3 days onsite in Newark, DE.
+ Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
+ Perform financial modeling, business analysis, and ad hoc reporting to support strategic initiatives.
+ Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business results.
+ Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and executive-level commentary.
+ Build relationships with VP-level stakeholders, providing financial guidance to support critical business decisions.
+ Enhance reporting capabilities through automation and continuous process improvements.
+ Develop business cases for product development initiatives and present financial impact to leadership.
+ Leverage ERP systems and reporting tools to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency.
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
+ 5-8 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
+ Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
+ Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a plus.
+ Experience with ERP and financial planning systems, preferably Oracle and Hyperion.
+ Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to executive stakeholders.
+ Strong business partnering, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
