Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite position serves learners with diverse disabilities and makes a real impact in their academic journey. What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in the state of Washington
• Experience working with a range of disabilities at the middle school level preferred
• Ability to develop, adapt, and deliver individualized instruction based on student IEPs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and related service providers
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing tailored instruction for students in accordance with IEPs
• Conducting and participating in IEP meetings and progress assessments
• Working closely with general education staff to support student success across settings
• Utilizing data and best practices to inform instruction and interventions
• Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and compliance requirements
• Managing the classroom with empathy and structure to support student growth

This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day, for the full school year (August 26, 2026 – June 11, 2027).
