Salary: $80,000 - $90,000/Annually DOE

Vineyards at Marsh Creek is a premier 55+ active adult community located in Brentwood, CA, featuring approximately 1,100 homes surrounded by scenic vineyards and Mount Diablo views. The adjacent Brentwood Golf Club is privately operated and offers a championship golf experience for residents and guests.
EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for partnering with the General Manager, the Association Board of Directors (Board), and our Company to fulfill obligations of the management contract in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the Board. Key areas of focus include management and support of the community association (HOA), including, but not limited to daily operations, regular interaction with and support of Board/homeowners/vendors, meeting attendance, architectural and landscape processing, budget assistance, and overall community business management. This is a leadership position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience while balancing the needs of many stakeholders.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a large-scale community onsite that includes single-family homes
- Guide, assist, and recommend a course of action for Board members to conduct business using Leadership Management
- Work collaboratively with the Board and General Manager to formulate and initiate short-and long-term strategies to optimize community resources in a cost-effective manner.
- Oversee documentation of all Board-approved policies, rules, and regulations.
- Provide management services in compliance with the terms of the management contract and the Association’s governing documents.
- In coordination with General Manager, prepare annual budget estimates for Board action and approval.
- Assist Board and homeowners with problem resolution.
- Provide fiscal management, including, but not limited to reviewing and approving invoices.
- Maintain a Master Calendar for all key deliverables for the Association
- Conduct weekly site reviews and provide oversight of related compliance matters.
- Conduct CCI Inspections for escrow and process all request through Vantaca in a timely an efficient manner.
- Process all Architectural, Landscape, and Notice of Completion Applications. Facilitate monthly Architectural and Landscape Committee Meetings and Notice of Completion Inspections.
- Prepare schedules and establish priorities for routine and special work projects
- Provide oversight of contracted work to ensure compliance with Association guidelines, including landscaping and pool services
- Attend association meetings, including, but not limited to: Board Meetings, Annual Meetings, Candidates Forum, and special Town Hall meetings, as required
- Assist with preparation of Board packets, agendas, and calendars for scheduled and unscheduled meetings.
- Communicate in-person, by telephone, and/or via email to Board members, homeowners, and vendors regarding community business in a timely manner; the call volume at PGA West 2 Residential Association is large
- Maintain current knowledge of governing documents, applicable state statutes, and local ordinances that apply to the community
