**Overview**
**Schedule:** Hybrid; 2 days remote, 3 days onsite.
**Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Division of Psychiatry and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics under general supervision, helping to ensure the efficient functioning of the department as a robust business operation. This role supports division leadership, faculty, staff, trainees, and visitors through a wide range of customer service, administrative, and secretarial activities related to the day-to-day operations of the office. Responsibilities include managing calendars and communications, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining records and files, processing department expenses and invoices, providing document services, and delivering reception and floor support.
In addition, the Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the division's clinical, academic, research, and administrative functions, including fellowship training programs in Psychiatry and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. Responsibilities include assisting with trainee onboarding, coordinating educational activities and schedules, maintaining accreditation and program documentation, and facilitating communication between fellows, faculty, and program leadership. Through effective organization, attention to detail, and collaboration, this position helps ensure the seamless operation of division activities and supports Children's Hospital Los Angeles' commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
**Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** 2+year's professional office experience. Advanced secretarial and administrative experience required. Catering and meeting planning and support preferred
**Education/Licensure/Certification:** High school graduate. Bachelor's degree preferred
**Pay Scale Information**
**$47,840.00-$63,024.00**

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
