Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborate with resident and family, and other inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise. Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, perform resident assessment, and provide resident education. May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks.
