Key responsibilities
- Owning the project from bid and award through pre-construction, construction, and close-out
- Managing budgets, schedules, subs, and the day to day chaos of a live multifamily site
- Coordinating directly with architects, designers, owners, and field teams
- Running regular status meetings and keeping the whole team honest on progress
- Managing subcontracts, change orders, buyouts, and the paper trail that comes with it
- Catching the stuff that turns into disputes and claims before it gets there
- Putting together status reports for ownership and investors
Qualifications
- Documented experience as a Project Manager on apartment projects, 3+ stories
- Comfortable running budgets in the $15M to $50M range
- Solid grip on multifamily construction methods and the quality bar that comes with it
- Can work independently but still plays well with a team
- Know your way around residential codes and standards
- Can build and adjust a schedule without someone holding your hand
Requirements
- MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, ProCore preferred
- Ability to work at both the corporate office and active project sites
- Strong written and verbal communication
Compensation and benefits
- $130K-$165K base, depending on experience
