Job Summary

Tenax Construction Inc., an award-winning Sacramento general contractor with 20+ years of experience, is hiring an experienced Project Manager / Production Supervisor. This is a working project management role with supervisory responsibility: you'll manage your own remodeling and custom home projects while overseeing our project management team and ensuring every job is delivered to the Tenax quality standard. As the company grows and adds more Project Managers, this position becomes the production lead the team reports to. We're looking for someone with proven management experience who runs a clean job and holds their team to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own construction and remodeling jobs end to end — scheduling, budgeting, crews, subcontractors, client communication, and closeout
• Supervise our other Project Manager(s), and future PMs as the team grows, to ensure consistent, high-quality work on every job
• Set and enforce consistent standards for how jobs are run across the team
• Conduct site visits, phase sign-offs, and punch-list walkthroughs to verify quality
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and scheduling across multiple active jobs
• Resolve workload and resource conflicts between Project Managers
• Keep ownership informed on job status, risks, and progress

Requirements

• Proven experience as a construction Project Manager
• Management or supervisory experience leading other PMs or crews
• Bilingual required — fluent in both Russian and English
• Strong in scheduling, budgeting, and field quality control
• Residential remodeling and/or custom home construction background (ICF a plus) preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site visits
