**Job Description**
Arvato is seeking an experienced operations leader to support our reverse logistics and value-added services operation in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of warehouse operations supporting product returns, inspection, disposition, refurbishment, kitting, bundling, repackaging, and SKU transformation activities for leading technology and consumer product clients.
This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement across all operational areas while ensuring customer requirements, production schedules, quality standards, inventory accuracy, and service level commitments are consistently achieved. The Senior Operations Manager will establish best-in-class processes, optimize operational performance, and maintain cost-effective solutions that deliver exceptional customer service.
+ Maintain production, quality, inventory accuracy, reliability, and safety standards across all operational areas.
+ Hire, train, evaluate, coach, and develop operations management staff.
+ Serve as the primary communication link between operations, customers, and internal stakeholders.
+ Lead reverse logistics operations, including product returns processing, inspection, disposition, refurbishment, and value-added services activities.
+ Oversee customer-specific programs involving kitting, bundling, relabeling, repackaging, product reconfiguration, and SKU transformation.
+ Monitor and ensure frontline supervisors accurately account for labor utilization through UKG and other workforce management tools.
+ Prepare and analyze operational performance data, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reporting.
+ Support Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
+ Provide leadership and oversight for safety programs, employee engagement initiatives, and operational compliance.
+ Manage customer KPIs including turnaround time, inventory accuracy, quality performance, productivity, claims reduction, and service level attainment.
+ Lead training and development efforts for warehouse associates and operational leadership teams across all functional areas.
+ Provide leadership and direction to Operations Supervisors, ensuring operational goals and customer expectations are achieved.
+ Oversee inventory control processes to ensure operational activities support inventory accuracy and audit compliance, including customer audits and physical inventories.
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, quality, productivity, and cost performance throughout the operation.
+ Collaborate closely with the Quality Department to ensure compliance with customer requirements and operational standards.
**Qualifications**
+ The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, analytical, and possess exceptional communication skills, with demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives within warehouse, supply chain, or reverse logistics environments.
+ Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels internally and externally are critical to success in this role.
+ 10+ years of operations leadership experience within a 3PL, supply chain, warehouse, reverse logistics, or value-added services environment.
+ Demonstrated experience developing, motivating, and leading cross-functional teams in a multi-client operation.
+ Experience managing production, quality, inventory control, returns processing, refurbishment, rework, and value-added services operations.
+ Workforce management experience, including management of temporary labor within a dynamic operational environment.
+ Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, operational metrics, and customer-focused performance management.
+ Experience supporting technology, consumer electronics, or high-value product operations preferred.
