Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborate with resident, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise. Provide care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform other nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to assistive personnel.
