Manage nursing home staff and nursing activities, including resident care and record-keeping. Manage nursing staff assigned to a particular shift. Take action regarding provision of resources within shifts. Assign residents to available nursing staff. Measure employee performance. Assist in training new staff and developing existing staff. Monitor resident care areas and facilities for cleanliness and readiness. Provide nursing care to residents on an as-needed basis. Administer oxygen, BLS, possible IVs, or medications as prescribed. Possess knowledge of clinical practices, strategic planning, administrative, and financial principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
