Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care, collaborate with resident, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues, plan, implement, and evaluate care, demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilize appropriate age and population specific standards, care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, coordinate care, perform resident assessment and education, perform other nursing interventions, may serve as charge nurse, delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care, function within scopes and standards of nursing practice.
