Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care. Collaborates with resident, family, and interdisciplinary colleagues. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks. Documents resident interactions and outcomes. Communicates resident's changing condition to the charge nurse.
