Cleans, stocks, and sterilizes equipment, and prepares patient rooms. Delivers patient care consistent with policy and high regard for safety and quality. Embraces new technology and EHR use. Manages patient flow with communication and regard for patient/family time and comfort. Performs other testing and care consistent with scope, including spirometry, vitals, EKGs, vision/hearing tests, splinting, and general patient care. Performs patient follow-up calls. Performs venipuncture and selected patient/laboratory testing. Performs x-rays and forwards images for overreads. Maintains x-ray equipment and adheres to safety standards. Promotes respect and professionalism. Serves as a patient advocate. Supports new initiatives. Supports team members. Understands and participates in basic computer and patient intake skills. Supports medical provider in examination, testing, and education. Prepares and administers medications under supervision.
