Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Administer prescribed medications and monitor the patient for therapeutic response. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, and medications.
