Administers floor and critical care therapy modalities. Performs arterial puncture and blood gas analysis and instrument QC. Responds to cardiopulmonary arrests. Maintains and processes equipment. Provides specialized service to the department. Uses knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and emergency procedures. Maintains strict infection control techniques. Assists in providing inservices for peers and staff. Practices, develops and endorses customer service skills. Participate in Quality Improvement activities. Implements Assess and Treat Protocols.
