This rewarding contract opportunity is based near Hayward, CA and focuses on supporting elementary-aged students within a mild to moderate Special Day Class (SDC). You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional behavioral support, fostering students’ growth, and collaborating closely with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is required
• Previous experience supporting students in a school environment is strongly preferred
• Fully credentialed candidates only
• Ability to work full time, 30-32 hours per week
• Experience or interest in working with elementary-aged children in a mild/moderate special education setting
• Preparedness to complete fingerprinting and onboarding with both the agency and the school district
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver behavioral interventions to assigned student(s) in a classroom or 1:1 setting
• Support the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Collect and document data on student progress and behaviors as directed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff
• Adapt strategies to best meet the needs of each student and foster a positive learning environment
• Attend and participate in professional development and required trainings
