Truck Driver
Agricultural & Nursery Delivery Operations

Position Overview
We are seeking Truck Driver to join our nursery operations team. This role is responsible for safely transporting and delivering high-quality products while ensuring compliance with company standards and DOT regulations.

What You Will Do

• Safely deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Load and unload materials as needed
• Obtain delivery confirmations including signatures and payments
• Communicate with dispatch, management, and nursery personnel
• Review dispatch instructions and plan routes, fuel, and rest stops
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions safely
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly
• Ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition before use
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage or injury
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle
• Complete and maintain logs, paperwork, and electronic records
• Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed
• Support nursery operations and assist with additional assigned tasks
  

Compliance & Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
• Maintain accurate hours of service and electronic logs
• Adhere to weight limits, load securement, and safety standards
• Inspect vehicles daily and report safety concerns immediately
• Exercise sound judgment in varying road and weather conditions
