Strategic/House Account Sales Manager
Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Strategic Account Sales Manager responsible for new business development, revenue growth, and strategic account management within a select group of major accounts. The successful candidate will support customers in identifying products, solutions, and services that best meet their needs while driving demand creation, design wins, and long-term growth opportunities. This position serves as the primary interface between the customer and Diodes' Business Units (BUs), Field Applications Engineers (FAEs), Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
Principle Duties and Responsibility:
• Build and manage Account Plans for each assigned account and territory, keeping the extended team of stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned to achieve growth objectives.
• Develop, communicate, and execute customer-specific account strategies based on compelling value propositions that drive new business opportunities and revenue growth.
• Own the design, deployment, and execution of winning account strategies to identify and capture every viable project, design opportunity, and revenue stream within assigned accounts.
• Drive demand creation activities by identifying customer roadmaps, projects, applications, and emerging technologies, aligning Diodes' product portfolio with customer requirements.
• Lead design-in and design-win activities across all Business Units to secure production business and increase market share.
• Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge base of assigned accounts, including business structure, technology roadmaps, key stakeholders, competitive landscape, purchasing processes, organizational dynamics, and strategic priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Business Unit Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and FAEs to position products, develop technical solutions, and successfully close new design opportunities.
• Coordinate customer visits, technical reviews, executive meetings, and strategic planning sessions to strengthen customer relationships and uncover growth opportunities.
• Act as the primary escalation point for competitive, technical, quality, qualification, delivery, and commercial issues.
• Maintain accurate sales funnels, forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and account plans, providing visibility to Business Units and management on future revenue opportunities.
• Track and drive design wins from concept through production, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and internal execution.
• Communicate customer roadmaps, market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities to Business Units to influence product development priorities and go-to-market strategies.
• Coordinate globally across sales organizations, Business Units, engineering teams, supply chain, and operations to facilitate alignment and strategic account execution.
• Conduct face-to-face customer management meetings as necessary to provide support, address issues, communicate updates, and build executive-level relationships.
• Negotiate and facilitate business matters including pricing, contracts, supply commitments, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements.
• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of Sales, FAEs, Product Marketing, Business Units, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Global Operations to achieve account objectives and revenue targets.
• Operate effectively within a highly matrixed global organization while driving accountability and execution across multiple functional groups.
• Respect and comply with all Diodes personnel, sales, proposal, and contract policies, while operating within company travel and expense guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• 5+ years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry with strategic account management, key account management, and/or territory management responsibilities.
• Proven success managing large strategic customers and complex sales opportunities within OEM, Cloud, AI, Industrial, Consumer, Communications, Networking, Computing, or Automotive markets.
• Preferred BSEE or BS degree with relevant semiconductor, electronics, or technology industry experience.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer architectures, product requirements, design challenges, and competitive solutions.
• Demonstrated experience driving demand creation, design-in, and design-win activities resulting in measurable revenue growth.
