The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa is currently seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to ensure the cleanliness and organizational standards for the back of the house areas are maintained properly on a daily basis. These areas include the loading dock, the employee cafeteria, hotel restaurants, room service, the banquet kitchen, main kitchen and pastry department, and the exhibition kitchen.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Direct the daily work of the Stewarding department to ensure all assigned areas are maintained, organized and meet the hotel's cleanliness and sanitation standards, assist with the work as needed.
• Responsible for the organization, maintenance, inventory and distribution of all equipment used by the Culinary, Banquets, and  Restaurant departments.
• Required to maintain a valid unexpired California Food Handler’s certificate, which the hotel will assist in obtaining and maintaining. Serve Safe certification is high desirable. Certified in CPR/First-Aid is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Español) is necessary.
