Administrative Assistant – Human Resources
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources team. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual who is eager to build a career in HR while providing administrative support in a fast-paced, professional environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain employee files and HR documentation while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation schedules.
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate HR team member.
- Enter and maintain employee information in HR systems and databases.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and other HR-related documents.
- Maintain office supplies and support general administrative functions within the HR department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding recordkeeping and document retention.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous administrative, office, customer service, or internship experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Physical Requirements
