About the job
The Inventory Control Clerk II will support daily inventory operations by managing inventory
movement, processing system transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting material
fulfillment requests. This role works closely with production, engineering, logistics, and
procurement teams to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
We're looking for someone who
● Has 2–5 years of inventory control experience (IC industry experience preferred)
● Has a high school diploma or equivalent (relevant college coursework or degree preferred)
● Has hands-on experience with inventory control software and ERP systems
● Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills
● Can multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Has strong written and verbal communication skills
● Can analyze inventory data and make logical decisions
● Works effectively independently and within a team environment
● Is self-motivated, productive, and results-oriented
● Can mentor and train team members on inventory processes and procedures
What you'll do
● Execute inventory processes including labeling, placing, picking, and storing materials
● Manage daily inventory fulfillment requests
● Identify proper production and process flow for materials
● Maintain and update inventory records in ERP systems, MES, Docuware, and Access
● Create, kit, and process work tickets while ensuring accurate documentation
● Complete system transactions for all inventory movement activities
● Participate in cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy investigations
● Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
● Support stockroom, engineering, and prototype assembly material requests
● Prepare depleted inventory reports for procurement and management review
● Report inventory and stock issues to management
● Document workflow processes and procedures
● Cross-train across multiple logistics functions
● Support special projects as assigned
Physical requirements
● Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and use hands for inventory handling tasks
● Must be comfortable sitting and standing for extended periods
● Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl
● Must frequently lift and move up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 25 lbs
● Must have close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
● Must be comfortable working in stockroom and cleanroom environments
