The assignment runs from August 4 to June 4, with regular daytime hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), totaling 37.5 billable hours per week. What You Bring:
- Active and current SLP credentials required
- Experience in school settings (elementary and/or middle school preferred)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and IEP development skills
- Comfort managing a caseload of up to 55 students (ages 3 through 8th grade)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual abilities strongly preferred
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services onsite to students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Work closely with teachers, family members, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate and timely records as required by district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Adapt therapy approaches and materials for diverse learners
