The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for directing and overseeing the company's financial activities, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial analysis—the CFO partners with executive leadership to support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial stability.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•\tLead the company’s financial strategy and long-term planning initiatives
•\tOversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions
•\tPrepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
•\tMonitor cash flow, banking relationships, and capital requirements
•\tDevelop and maintain internal controls and financial policies
•\tEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations
•\tManage audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and advisors
•\tAnalyze financial performance and provide recommendations to executive leadership
•\tSupport strategic planning, acquisitions, investments, and business development initiatives
•\tOversee payroll, benefits, finance coordination, insurance renewals, and risk management activities as applicable
•\tLead and mentor accounting and finance team members
•\tProvide financial insight to improve operational efficiency and profitability
•\tParticipate in board meetings and prepare financial presentations as needed
•\tEnsure compliance with lending agreements, covenants, and reporting obligations
•\tPrepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and Board reports
•\tAbility to interact with executive management and blue-collar workers simultaneously and often in the same setting
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
•\tExperience in the Automotive industry preferred
•\tStrong analytical skills are required
•\tAdvanced proficiency in accounting, ERP systems, and Excel
•\tStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
•\tExperience with internal controls and segregation of duties
•\tExperience managing audits as well as banking and insurance relationships
•\tStrong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
•\tExcellent communication and presentation abilities
•\tStrategic planning and business analysis
•\tFinancial modeling and forecasting
•\tRisk management and compliance
•\tExperience leading and directing a strong safety culture
•\tTeam leadership and staff development

•\tBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
•\tCMA and/or MBA preferred, CPA not necessary
•\tMinimum 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience with a minimum of high level accounting experience
•\tStrong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
•\tMust possess a strong analytical background with strong reporting skills.
•\tProficient in Microsoft Suite/Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
