Blazer Jobs is seeking dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals for the summer time, assignments supporting students across multiple grade levels and program settings. Paraprofessionals will assist students with instructional, behavioral, communication, medical, and daily living needs while supporting a safe and inclusive educational environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom and instructional support to students receiving special education services
• Assist students with behavioral, communication, and functional needs
• Support personal care tasks including toileting, diapering, feeding, and mobility assistance as needed
• Follow behavior support plans and student accommodations
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset across assigned campuses

Qualifications:

**Candidates must meet one of the following minimum qualification pathways:

• Associate’s Degree or higher, OR
• Completion of at least 48 college units and a high school diploma, OR
• Passing score on the CBEST with a high school diploma, OR
• Passing score on the Instructional Aide Exam with a high school diploma

Additional certifications or experience may qualify candidates for specialized paraprofessional assignments, including:

• CPR/First Aid certifications
• Medical support training
• Behavioral support experience
• Sign language proficiency
• Vision impairment support experience
• LVN licensure

Pre-K: June 15 – July 10 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Elementary: June 15 – July 10 | 7:50 AM – 12:30 PM
Middle School: June 15 – July 10 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
High School & ACCESS: June 15 – July 17 | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
