Assignments include:
- One part-time opportunity focusing on Braly and Briarwood Elementary Schools, covering a mix of mid/moderate and general education/preschool populations. You’ll circulate between schools (one site per day), ensuring vital assessment support and service delivery. This assignment continues until an internal hire is made by the district.
- Two full-time SLP roles at either Petersen Middle School or Santa Clara High School, working with general education caseloads (40–50 students). These positions are needed until mid-to-late September and offer diverse, hands-on experience across school settings.
Ideal candidates bring:
- Current SLP licensure; CCC preferred but not required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong collaboration abilities and flexibility in daily assignments
- Competency in assessment and intervention for a variety of student needs
- Reliable communication and organizational skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students with varying needs
- Conduct assessments and support ongoing case management, especially in overload situations
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school protocols
- Collaborate with site staff and fellow specialists to ensure comprehensive support
- Adjust seamlessly to changes in daily work location
