It’s Friday at 12:25 pm. You’re gearing up for a focused weekend shift where precision and pace go hand in hand. You review priorities from the Production Supervisor in the Shop Floor Control System, select cutters, update fixturing, call up CNC programs, and confirm feeds and speeds before the spindle turns. Whether you’re on a vertical or horizontal machining center, you own the setup and operation with minimal oversight—driving parts to spec and keeping production flowing.

• Friday: 12:30 pm – 1:00 am
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:30 am – 12:00 am

• Set up and run CNC milling centers, handling tooling selection/installation, fixture updates, and program pull-ups with light edits as needed.
• Work confidently with rotary/indexing equipment across 3–5 axis milling.
• Validate and refine feeds/speeds; streamline processes to hit efficiency targets.
• Inspect parts against blueprints using appropriate gauges; document results and deburr in-process work.
• Capture and save updated programs, setup documentation, and photos to standard locations.
• Use the Shop Floor Control System to plan work; clock on/off each operation by work-order sequence.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep the work area orderly and safe.
• Model teamwork—collaborate across departments and be recognized by peers for your reliability.
• Coach operators prior to production; mentor new hires and apprentices.
• Join team efforts to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and verify quality.
• Meet agreed goals on schedule, support departmental strategy, and follow company machining best practices.
• Operate within ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 quality systems; uphold OSHA and PPE requirements.

• Approximately 5 years of CNC milling experience with proven setup and operation skills.
• Enrollment/completion of a vocational program or a four-year formal apprenticeship preferred.
• Fluency in blueprint reading and GD strong knowledge of accepted inspection methods.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming with G & M codes; ability to make minor program adjustments.
• Familiarity with tool probing (basic to intermediate).
• A track record of accuracy, ownership, and professional collaboration.
