**Certifications:**
+ ARRT
+ BLS (American Heart Association, American Red Cross or Military Training Network)
**Shift:**
+ PRN shifts, but highly needed to work 2-4 shifts per month, though week. Usually 8-10hr day shifts
**Qualifications for CT Technologist:**
+ 2 (2) or more years of imaging experience preferred
+ Associate's degree or graduate of an accredited radiologic health science program
+ ARRT Registered
+ Licensed RT (R) (CT) preferred
+ Current BLS through the American Heart Association
**Equipment:**
+ Phillips Ingenuity
+ Siemens Force
**Responsibilities for CT technologist**
+ The technologist performs CT procedures with guidelines established by this institution, the equipment manufacturer and/or radiation safety guidelines established by governing body. Performs complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures
+ Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation and Computerized Axial Tomography for the purpose of detecting pathology CT duties along w/ RT will be required
+ Ensures Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications to radiation and contrast injections
+ Produces high-quality diagnostic images
+ Perform all phases of cross-sectional imaging
+ Clean and disinfect CT/T room and equipment
+ Correlate specialized examinations with other departments Special procedures, Cytology
+ Enter all patient data into RAD ASSESSMENT for radiologist dictation
