Astral Electric Company is looking for a skilled Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Stockton, CA. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Inspect and test electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members on job sites
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice electricians as needed
Requirements:
- Valid California Journeyman Electrician License (C-10) required
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Experience with conduit bending, panel installations, and load calculations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety
