- You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. You're resourceful and at ease with ambiguity and rapid change. You possess a positive, can-do attitude, and are adept at identifying creative solutions that turn challenges into opportunities. WHAT'S THE JOB?
- You'll manage projects from start to finish. Starting with inspections and estimates, you'll guide project stakeholders through recommendations to quickly develop scope, timelines, and expectations for their projects - even when they are complex, multi-hazard situations. You'll visit your job sites, ensure work is being performed correctly, safely and in compliance with regulatory agencies (like BAAQMD, CDPH, OSHA, etc.) - especially when the projects involve hazardous materials such as lead, asbestos, or biological materials.
- You'll communicate with clients daily. Keeping clients informed of our team's progress and needs, as well as deftly navigating through any issues that arise, is a daily task. - You'll direct and lead our technician crews. Setting and confirming a scope with our lead technicians is only the beginning, as you'll check-in daily to ensure they are on track and support them to do their best work. You'll also be responsible for providing feedback to the team - positive and constructive - on a daily basis to ensure their growth and ensure excellent outcomes.
- You'll manage approved subcontractors and materials needs. From equipment rental, temporary labor, and partnering and coordinating with other contractors and our clients' industrial hygienists, you'll ensure you have what you need to get every job done right.
- You'll serve on the Emergency Response Team. Building emergencies don't just happen during business hours - losses come in at all hours of the day, every day of the week, including holidays. You'll be on a rotating schedule with the rest of the team so that we may respond to our clients' after-hours needs
- You'll partner with your teammates every day. Working closely with your fellow Project Managers, you'll leverage the support of the team's Project Coordinator to set schedules, keep projects on track, ensure complete and accurate documentation, and to prioritize crews as new work comes in.
