Job Purpose
TheSenior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex electrical construction projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The incumbent will provide expert leadership, foster team collaboration, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, this position is accountable for driving financial performance, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and achievable.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Provide expert leadership and guidance to the project team, including field foremen and support staff.
- Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide mentorship to enhance the capabilities of the project team.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging effective communication and problem-solving among team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project status, address challenges, and provide strategic direction.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and managing change orders.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.
- Conduct regular financial reviews to assess project performance and address variances.

- Evaluate change order requests, assess their impact on project scope, schedule, and cost, and negotiate terms with the general contractor to ensure fair compensation for additional work or variations.
- Oversee the creation and submission of proposed change orders.
- Document and track all change orders, including scope changes, costs, and approvals, to maintain project profitability and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project documentation, including plans, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and approve project documentation.
- Oversee the distribution and storage of project documents, ensuring efficient retrieval and accessibility.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trade partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and inquiries.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders effectively.
- Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally.
- Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical construction.
- Drive innovation and excellence within the organization by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing industry-leading solutions.
