Turning 2 Talent LLC is partnering with a leading Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) organization to identify an accomplished Director of Human Resources to support a large, high-performing restaurant operation throughout the San Jose, San Francisco, and Santa Rosa markets.

Position Overview
The Director of Human Resources will serve as the senior People leader for a large restaurant division, partnering closely with operations leadership to build a high-performance culture while supporting organizational growth, employee engagement, compliance, and talent development.
The ideal candidate is a strategic business partner with strong operational HR experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence leaders at every level of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the organization's People strategy across a large multi-unit restaurant operation.
- Partner with Operations leadership to support business objectives through effective HR initiatives.
- Coach and develop leaders to strengthen employee engagement, performance, and retention.
- Build scalable HR processes that support continued organizational growth.
- Lead and develop an HR team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Manage employee relations, labor and employment matters, and organizational compliance.
- Oversee insurance and liability claims management.
- Coordinate payroll processes and partner with Payroll leadership as needed.
- Utilize HR technology and HRIS platforms to improve reporting, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Progressive Human Resources leadership experience within a multi-unit environment.
- Experience leading and developing HR or People teams.
- Strong labor and employment knowledge.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR technology.
- Payroll management or coordination experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Desire to grow within a large, dynamic organization.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000 – $205,000
