The CT Technologist performs all duties relating to the specific primary and post primary imaging modalities in which they are working. This includes Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. Mammography & Bone Densitometry. Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table. Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary. Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. Release customers with proper post procedure instructions. Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
