Provide anesthesia for trauma, high-risk OB (Level III Perinatal Center), orthopedic, and general surgical procedures. 14 operating rooms, all-hands-on trauma cases. Comprehensive Stroke Center support. Collaboration with MDs, CRNAs (primarily for endoscopy suite), surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care planning. In-house 24-hour call rotation: roughly 1:2.7 days (one weeknight/week and 1-2 weekends/month). Weeknight in-house call: 3:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. following an 8-hour shift. Coverage: trauma or OB. Post-call day off for in-house coverage. Pager call rotation: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th calls with ~20-minute response time. Moderate call volume.
