**Location Description**
The Post Consumer Brands plant in Tremonton, Utah is part of the company's West Coast network, with more than 220 team members supplying Malt-O-Meal bag cereals, PEBBLES cereals, and more to a variety of retailers. **Responsibilities**
**_Job Function:_**
The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible to Lead, Train and Coach a small group of maintenance technicians in performing plant maintenance safely and effectively. Responsible for performing and leading mechanical, electrical, and electronic plant/equipment maintenance so that production down time is minimized and efficiency is maximized. Support, implement, and maintain food safety and quality practices as required through SQF. Responsible for ensuring the team completes job duties in a manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality and environmental practices.
Essential Job Activities/Duties:
+ Ability to lead a team in completing daily work schedule assignments, by coaching and mentoring others to complete assigned tasks.
+ Ability to train and coach others in complex maintenance and repair activities, to include electronic, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and MMS systems.
+ Troubleshoot and lead team in the repair of mechanical problems of all plant equipment including mechanical drive systems and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Troubleshoot and lead team in the repair of electrical problems of plant and packaging/processing equipment such as wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC & DC motor drives.
+ Troubleshoot and lead team in the repair of electronic problems of plant and packaging/processing equipment such as programmable controllers, circuit boards, install and program electronic components.
+ Give feedback to planners and Maintenance Supervisor to improve preventative maintenance plans on all equipment, check and replace items, and conduct equipment inspections.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, electrical schematics, PLC logic, electronic diagrams and related software systems.
+ Use, understand and manipulate computer systems for entering and retrieving data in EMS systems as necessary to perform maintenance record keeping activities.
**_Secondary Job Activities:_**
+ Provide calibration and repair support for ICV Program.
+ Provide maintenance and operator training to ensure proper use of equipment.
+ Design and fabricate replacement parts or equipment: weld, lathe, mill, press, grind, to repair equipment as necessary.
+ Keep track of parts inventory and purchase and/or requisition replacement parts when necessary. Ensure parts are installed in equipment when received.
+ Perform building maintenance and repairs including HVAC, roofs/windows/doors, and lights.
+ Keep all work and shop areas clean so as to avoid injury and/or sanitation problems.
+ Use computerized maintenance system for equipment history & parts.
+ Provide input into mechanical, electrical and electronic designs of equipment.
+ Lead work teams, give direction to others and perform any other assigned duties.
**Qualifications**
**_Education:_**
2-4 years vocational training in maintenance mechanics to include: hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, electronics and programmable computers. Knowledge of production machinery operation and maintenance. State licenses preferred: boilers, electrical and refrigeration.
**_Experience:_**
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in plant and production equipment maintenance including mechanical, electrical, and electronic repair.
