**Job Summary**
As the Vice President of Human Resources, reporting to the SVP Head of Human Resources, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the President of Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS), a growing, multi-national technology business. As part of the senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the people strategy that drives business growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness. You will lead a global team of HR professionals, guiding their development and ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide people and talent priorities. Your focus will be on identifying and addressing key talent opportunities and challenges, designing forward-looking organizational strategies, and delivering impactful leadership coaching and workforce planning solutions. Success in this role requires exceptional business acumen, strategic consulting capabilities, and the ability to influence and collaborate with executive leaders across geographies. You will partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to translate business needs into scalable HR solutions, ensuring the organization is equipped to meet its evolving goals.
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**
+ Partner with leaders to develop a practical and business-focused talent strategy that aligns with the overall Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS) business
+ Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the HR function by contributing insights, leadership, and collaboration as a core member of the HR Leadership Team
+ Lead and develop a team of 10+ professionals globally
+ Leverage people analytics to deliver actionable insights to executive leaders, enabling data-informed decisions that drive business outcomes
+ Continuously monitor internal business dynamics and external market trends to inform and evolve the people strategy, ensuring it remains aligned with organizational priorities and positioned to drive long-term success
+ Drive organizational effectiveness by designing and aligning structures, roles, and workflows that enable strategic execution and position the business for scalable growth and success
+ Support mergers, acquisitions, and business integrations by leading people-focused strategies that preserve organizational values, align cultures, and ensure a smooth transition for associates across all levels
+ Provide strategic guidance to executive leaders across all stages of the talent lifecycle, including workforce planning, hiring, leadership development, succession planning, organizational design, performance, and reward
+ Partner with HR COEs (HR Operations, Total Rewards, Talent) and cross-functional HR teams to co-develop and implement key frameworks, processes, and toolkits that enhance business performance and deliver measurable value across the organization
+ Champion company values by embedding them into HR strategies, leadership behaviors, and organizational culture
**Skills and Minimum Experience Required**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; advanced degree (MBA or Master's in HR or related field) preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, business strategy, or organizational development
+ Proven success building, leading, and retaining high-performing HR teams
+ Trusted advisor to senior business leaders, including C-level executives, with a track record of influencing strategic decisions
+ Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into actionable HR solutions that drive performance and growth
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver insights that inform talent and business strategies
+ Experience designing and executing global talent management strategies, including workforce planning, succession, and leadership development
